“Social and Technical Architectures on the Internet” is the name of her roundtable, scheduled for just after lunch on day 2 of the conference, where Wendy will draw upon her academic and legal background as well as experiences, among other things, as founder of the Chilling Effects Clearinghouse and former EFF attorney to decompress some of the fundamental top to bottom questions of what the internet and being on it is all about. Other interests include: privacy and anonymity research, education, and technology.
From her bio:
Wendy speaks frequently on copyright, trademark, open source, and the public interest online. She has an A.B. from Harvard College and J.D. from Harvard Law School, and occasionally takes a break from legal code to program (Perl and MythTV).
